Renault just announced a forthcoming update of its Clio supermini car series which hasn’t changed since 2012. The facelifted Clio will debut at the International Motor Show in Paris, France starting on October 4, 2018.
According to media sources in Europe, the new Renault Clio will draw inspiration from the latest generations of Renault Symbioz Concept and Renault Megane.
The newcomer will be built on the CMF-B platform and shipped with new 0.9L and 1.3L engines to choose from. Car industry professionals argue that it’s also likely to come equipped with an autonomous driving feature. Just whether a diesel-powered Renault Clio gets released as well remains unknown at the moment.
