A dozen of cars from the Renault UK Collection currently owned by one of the dealerships in Great Britain has hit the block today. The auction ends on March 13, and while no prices has been mentioned, an Alpine sports car is already being traded for £65,000.
The most valuable piece in the set so far is a 1977 Alpine A110 1600SX coupe that the dealership acquired six years ago to expand the collection. A mysterious Spanish rally driver, who owned the car in the past, upgraded the stock 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with two Weber carburetors, raising its output to 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW).
Next in the list is a Clio V6 press pool car with barely more than 24,000 km (15,000 miles) under its belt. It is one out of only 18 Clio V6 examples imported into the UK on official terms.
There is also a number of limited edition cars with chassis number 001: a 17-year-old Clio 182 Trophy, a Megane RS 275 Trophy R from seven years ago, and some other vehicles.
The Renault Sport Spider listed for sale has 8,200 km (5,100 miles) on the odometer and was the first vehicle produced under the Renault Sport badge. A total of 60 Spiders came out before the production ended.
Rounding off the list is a 1985 Renault 4 GTL, one of the marque’s most mass-market cars acquired by the dealership half a decade ago. It had only one owner prior to becoming part of the collection and has 77,800 km (a touch over 48,300 miles) under its belt.
