2020 Renault Espace brings along new styling cues, updated tech

Renault has introduced the 2020 version of its Espace MPV, now with LED Matrix headlights, digital dash and updated infotainment system.

Exterior novelty includes the wheels, the brake lights with LED sections, the bumpers, and the restyled front end (Initiale Paris version only).

Inside, the center console now contains a small lockable area with two cup holders and several USB ports. The dashboard is now fully digital and supports several presets, and the Easy Connect infotainment system boasts a 9.3-inch touch-sensitive screen.

Options for the 2020 Renault Espace include panoramic glass roof, leather cabin finish, seats with massage, heating and 10 power adjustments, as well as a wide range of electronic assists.

The MPV will ship with a choice between two turbocharged diesel engines rated at 160 and 200 horsepower (120 and 150 kW, accordingly). Both link to a six-speed robotic transmission. A single gasoline engine will also be available, specifically a 1.8-liter Alpine A110 mill partnered with a seven-speed DCT for 225 hp (168 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque.
