The first photo showing the new Renault Kangoo on the road has recently emerged online. Despite the low image quality, you can still tell what the update is mainly about.
We assume that what is depicted here is a final production version of the minivan. Predictably enough, it looks much like the 2019 Kangoo Z.E. Concept that debuted in the beginning of the year, the similarities extending to the rectangular headlights, black fog lights and radiator grille with a chrome bar.
Chances are good that the French car manufacturer will continue offering the model with the 1.5-liter diesel engine. If so, the mill will likely be updated to comply with the latest environmental protection standards. On another note, the Kangoo Z.E. Concept clearly hinted at the eventual switch to an electrified or all-electric powertrain, so we could expect either of these (or both) to be available in the coming generation.
The premiere date is still not set, but the latest spy shots indicate that it is right around the corner.
