The Renault model range has expanded to incorporate special Z.E versions of its Kangoo and Master vans. Both come powered by hydrogen fuel cells and have far greater range than their fully electric counterparts.
The Kangoo Z.E Hydrogen can cover up to 370 kilometers (230 miles) on a single fill, which is 140 km (87 miles) more than its electric sibling can do. Refilling the hydrogen tank array takes ten minutes at most. As for the Master Z.E Hydrogen, it has 350 km (217.5 miles) of manufacturer-rated range, surpassing the Master EV by 120 km (74.5 miles).
The new Kangoo MPV will hit the showrooms throughout France before the end of the year. Prices will begin at €48,300 before all environmental subsidies. The full-size van will arrive in the first half of 2020.
