The second generation of the Renault Koleos received its first major facelift in 2019. The French SUV sports minor design improvements and ships with a more up-to-date infotainment system as well as two new engines to choose from.
Starting with the exterior, the 2019 Renault Koleos sports a prominent new radiator grille, a heavy-duty skid plate, and a chrome-rimmed front bumper. The standard trim now ships with LED headlights and brake lights with a 3D look.
The cabin benefits from trimming materials that are now higher quality, and the R-Link2 infotainment system (still available with 7” and 8.7” screens) now has Apple CarPlay support. Electronic driver aids now include an automatic emergency brake system with pedestrian recognition.
As we said above, there are two new diesel engines in the range. One of these is a 1.8-liter unit rated at 150 hp (112 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb×ft) of torque. The other one has 2.0 liters of displacement and comes rated at 190 hp (142 kW) along with 380 Nm (280 lb×ft) of torque. Both work in conjunction with a CVT transmission and an AWD system.
