The Megane eVision Concept from last October is slowly taking on a production car form. Here are some official shots of a camouflaged Megane EV along with its power and range numbers.
Despite the disguise, you can see that the car stays quite close to its concept version while sporting a Renault Espace-like rear. The accompanying text states that the powertrain consists of a single electric motor rated at 217 PS (214 hp / 160 kW) and a 60-kWh traction battery for 450 kilometers (280 miles) of WLTP-rated range. The tech platform used is CMF-EV.
Everything seems to suggest that the Megane EV – or, more accurately, Megane E-Tech Electric – will celebrate its premiere in the first half of 2022.
