Renault has officially presented its facelifted Sandero RS hatchback in South America. This is the first time this particular model gets a major update.
The 2020 Renault Sandero RS sports 17-inch wheels painted black, new LED-based taillights, red brake calipers, and sporty decals.
Unlike the regular Sandero, the RS trim comes adorned with a black roof spoiler and twin exhaust tips. Look inside to see faux carbon-trimmed doors, red seats, and black ceiling.
The tech remains the same as in the pre-facelift model. The hatchback still packs a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine rated at 150 hp (112 kW), linked to a six-speed manual transmission with a limited gear range. Accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes eight full seconds, and the maximum going speed is 202 km/h (125 mph).
By default, the new Sandero RS ships with a multimedia system, a back-up camera, an air conditioner, cruise control, and the RS Drive system that offers multiple drive modes to switch between.
