Renault has launched a special version of its Trafic van in Australia. Called the Formula Edition, it comes packing a Megane RS transmission along with some racing-inspired décor.
The car boasts sporty red accents, restyled aprons and 17-inch Graphite Grey wheels. Inside, the gear selector is wrapped in leather, the cargo area is laid out with wood, and the dashboard is trimmed with chrome highlights.
Customers may choose between Standard and LWB versions of the van, but paint options are limited to white and light grey. On the other hand, the equipment list is quite extensive, including keyless start-and-go, LED ambient lighting, climate control, heated driver’s seat, and LED headlights.
Powering the Renault Trafic Formula Edition is a 1.6-liter turbocharged diesel engine rated at 138 hp (102 kW). The six-speed manual transmission is the same model as in the Megane RS.
Prices start from 42,000 AUD, which roughly translates into 28,500 USD or 25,400 Euro.
