Renault has unveiled a new production campervan dubbed the Trafic Space Nomad. The RV will arrive in two length/capacity versions suitable for four and five passengers, respectively.
A pop-up roof reveals a tent with a bed measuring 200x120 cm (78.74”x47.24”). The rear sofa inside can be turned into another sleeping area sized 188x124 cm (74.02”x48.82”).
There is a kitchenette on board with two burners and a sink, as well as a fridge with 49 liters (1.73 cubic feet) of space. The table provided can be installed in a fixed position inside the RV, taken outside or dismantled and stored altogether. An expandable sunshade can provide a certain measure of shadow throughout the day, and there is an outdoor shower as well.
Renault will be adding the Space Nomad to its lineup in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, and France in early 2022. Buyers will be able to choose from variants rated between 111-172 PS (109-170 hp; 82-126 kW, respectively).
