Renault to debut the updated Zoe at the Geneva show

The next model update of the supermini electric car Renault Zoe will be presented to the wide audience at the 88th Geneva International Motor Show on March 8 through 18, 2018. The manufacturer says it will get a new, stronger engine.

Technically speaking, it is going to get a better R110 engine whose performance goes up from 93 to 109 hp compared to the current R90. It can accelerate the vehicle 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 11.4 seconds and has overall better dynamic characteristics than its predecessor.

Some industry experts also believe that the new Renault Zoe will get a new battery set for extended driving range. The manufacturer had no comment on this, however. It’s worth mentioning that the current-generation model has an all-electric driving range of 400 kilometers (250 miles).

Buyers of the refreshed Renault Zoe will be given an additional body color choice. Those who value every extra bit of comfort may consider purchasing an optional interior trim package.
