Rezvani, a name closely associated with over-the-top armored SUVs and trucks for the wealthy among us, has finally revealed its next production model. Called the Fortress, it runs on the same underpinnings as the Ford F-150 Raptor while getting a complete exterior overhaul and a cabin to survive an apocalypse in. Do note that ballistic armor comes as an $85,000 option, priced above the $79,000 Raptor truck itself.
Regardless of whether you decide for your Fortress to have some actual protection or none at all, it will ship with the tuner’s signature “bulletproof” look applied. The chassis will be reinforced and the ground clearance raised to whopping 380 millimeters (15 inches). For the wheels, customers are invited to choose from a wide selection of rims sized 17–20 inches large and tire going up to 40 inches in diameter.
The interior retains its layout while getting all-new upholstery and some unique styling touches. Rezvani also replaces the infotainment UI with its own, and that seems to be it for the standard package.
Powertrain-wise, you can stick with the truck’s standard 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 or go for a 5.2-liter supercharged V8. The former option gives you 456 PS (450 hp / 335 kW), same as stock. The latter gets further tuned to 862 PS (850 hp / 634 kW). Both drive all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission and have limited-slip differentials at both ends.
The Rezvani Fortress is already available for ordering starting from a cool $285,000 before options. Like we said above, armoring adds another $85,000. Put in an extra $42,000 to get an Active Defense package including bull bars, electroshock-capable door handles, a pepper spray gun, and a smokescreen generator. Last but not least, $14,500 buys you some further survival options like a fridge, a power generator, solar panels, a fresh water tank, and assorted electronics for communicating with the outside world.
Only 100 trucks like this will be made.
