Rimac Nevera sets a new record at Goodwood

Racing at the hill climb track in Goodwood, the Rimac Nevera has set a new time record, covering 1.2 miles (1.9 km) in 49.32 seconds. Check out the video in the gallery below.

The all-electric McMurtry Speirling racecar remains an all-time champion of the Goodwood with a time of 39.08 seconds. The company is currently working on a production version of it called Speirling Pure. A total of 100 units are scheduled for assembly, each priced from £820,000 before options. The first deliveries will not be made until 2025, though.

Back to the Nevera, though. Rimac’s flagship hypercar set as many as 23 records at once at an airfield in Germany this spring. The most prestigious of those was the world’s fastest 0-400-0 km/h (0-248-0 mph) run. Koenigsegg Regera dethroned it just a month later.
