The YouTube team of Triple F Collection has posted a video from a quarter-mile race between three extremely powerful cars. The combined output of the contenders exceeded 4,500 horsepower.
Specifically, a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport went up against a Tesla Model S and a Rimac Nevera. The Chiron has 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW) at its disposal and needs 2.3 seconds for a sprint from zero to 97 km/h (60 mph). Its first rival in the video – the all-electric Nevera – pumps out 1,914 PS (1,888 hp / 1,408 kW) and concludes the launch in a vertiginous 1.74 seconds.
The winner of this race then took on the Tesla Model S Plaid, which hits the wheels with 1,020 PS (1,006 hp / 750 kW) and should be able to reach highway speed in 1.99 seconds, per the manufacturer. How it actually performed you can see for yourself in the video.
