Throttle House has posted a new video on its YouTube channel dedicated to three very different performance cars. Let’s see how they lined up.
Starting with the SUV, it is none other than the deluxe Lamborghini Urus packing a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 good for 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. As powerful as it is, it has a curb weight of 2,197 kilograms (4,844 pounds) to contend with.
The second entry is a Shelby-tuned Ford F-150 churning out 786 PS (775 hp / 578 kW) from its five-liter supercharged V8. We don’t know how heavy it is, though.
Dominating the trio in terms of sheer power output is a Rivian R1S, an electric SUV driven by four motors jointly rated at 845 PS (832 hp / 620 kW). The torque is also far ahead of the competition at 1,231 Nm (908 lb-ft) of torque. On the other hand, the SUV is by far the heaviest of the bunch with its 3,175 kg (7,000 pounds) of weight when empty.
