Have you had an opportunity to check out the rides Bentley and Lexus built for Santa Claus this year? Both are fine pieces of art – reindeer drives, unlimited trunks and all – but neither looks as vintage as this Rolls-Royce!
This is probably why Santa went to check out this rare 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud restored by ICON three years ago. The luxury limo wears a fitting fir-tree green paintjob and is in perfect driving condition. A staple of the RR brand some sixty years ago, these have always offered plenty of room and comfort to the occupants, but lacked somewhat in the powertrain department. ICON addressed this issue by stuffing a seven-liter Chevy V8 under the hood, landing the classic with 550 PS (542 hp / 404 kW). Brembo brakes and lowered suspension were added for better handling.
