The British luxury carmaker will be revealing its electrification plans tomorrow, and while no details have been announced yet, most of us believe that the first production EV will be shown as well.
An indication to this is the multiple images of earlier Rolls-Royce electric concept cars that the company posted silently along with the announcement. What we do know about its plans is that it intends to ignore hybrids completely and transition to all-electric vehicles straight away. The first production model will reach the market in this decade.
A decade ago, Rolls-Royce unveiled the 102EX Concept, essentially a modified Phantom equipped with dual electric motors jointly rated at 394 PS (389 hp / 290 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The experimental 103EX Concept followed a while later.
