Rolls-Royce has announced the coming of its first fully electric car. We expected to see a production-ready vehicle or at least a prototype, but what we actually got was these three photos of a camouflaged concept.
The coupe is called Spectre and looks like it mimics the Wraith. The company says that the road tests are already running. Prototypes will have to cover 2,500,000 kilometers (1553427 miles) in total before production can begin. Deliveries are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023.
The car comes based on an old aluminum space-frame chassis of the Ghost and Phantom models. Both are ICE cars, but the company claims the platform lends itself rather well to various drivetrain types.
No other details have been revealed.
