The British luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has announced the forthcoming small-batch re-release of its Dawn convertible and Wraith coupe. The Black Badge Adamas series will include 30 of the former and 40 of the latter.
Each car will get a Spirit of Ecstasy figurine made out of nearly 30 layers of carbon molded together. The manufacturer says it takes almost 70 hours to produce one of these.
Clients will be able to get their Rolls-Royce Black Badge Adamas in either blue-and-black or orange-and-black gamma. Naturally, the chosen color scheme carries over into the interior of the ‘dark’ series.
The passenger compartment is dominated by a clock adorned with 88 imitation black diamonds. Trimming makes intensive use of brushed metal and pearlescent-effect leather.
The Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge Adamas coupe also features a starry sky-like ceiling made up of over 1,300 optical light fibers that visually mimic the chemical structure of carbon molecules.
