Rolls-Royce Cullinan gets a power injection

Spofec, a Germany-based tuning shop specializing in bespoke Rolls-Royce vehicles, has unveiled its latest and greatest Cullinan-based project called Overdose. Aside from an aggressive aerodynamic kit, the opulent SUV gets a sizable power boost.

The aero package includes wheel arch extensions, side skirts, new bumpers on both ends, a rear diffuser, and a rear spoiler.

Straight from the factory, the Cullinan packs a V12 with 6.75 liters of displacement, 571 hp (426 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. Opting for the Black Badge Series raises the numbers to 600 hp (447 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft). The Spofec Overdose ups the ante once more with up to 685 hp (511 kW) and 1,010 Nm (745 lb-ft) reaching the wheels.

From the technical side of things, the upgrade kit includes a sports-grade exhaust system, a new ECU, higher boost pressure, and reprogrammed ignition cards.

Despite the added punch, the luxury SUV still sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in the same 4.9 seconds as the Black Badge, and also maxes out at 250 km/h (155 mph).
