Rolls-Royce announces 4 unique Cullinans themed after Russian mountains

Rolls-Royce is preparing another special edition of its Cullinan SUV line. Called Spirit of Russia, it is inspired by the mountain ranges and peaks of that country.

Each of the four unique vehicles will follow its own theme, but all four will get “frosty matte” color schemes to evoke associations with snowy pinnacles. The main color will be offset by dark steel-and-chrome décor.

Inside, the scuff plates will sport backlighting and captions bearing the name of the car and the altitude of the landmark it was inspired by: Krasnaya Polyana 2500 m, Golden Mountains 4506 m, Klyuchevskaya Sopka 4750 m, and Elbrus 5642 m.

The Elbrus sports black leather with white accents, while The Golden Mountains of Altai has a sapphire-tinted body with blue-and-yellow cabin. Krasnaya Polyana Ski Resort comes in a mix of light grey and turquoise, while Klyuchevskaya Sopka boasts black outside and a combination of red and black inside. All four cars get their Starry Sky ceiling replaced with the map of Russia. Designers point out that this element alone takes 48 hours to implement.

The SUVs will be produced at Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood factory in late 2020.
