The market life of the Rolls-Royce Dawn is drawing to a close, and Novitec’s subsidiary Spofec would like to say goodbye to it in style.
The tuning pack is called Overdose and fits the range-topping Black Badge spec. Novelty begins on the exterior with an all-carbon body kit with flared arches, new side skirts and bumpers, and a rear spoiler. The car becomes 130 mm (5.1”) wider after everything is installed. 22-inch Vossen Forged wheels fill out the arches, and the whole thing is kept in black, as any Black Badge vehicle should be.
This is not all: the stock 6.6-liter V12 gets a control module called N-Tronic, which enables the twin turbos drive it to 785 PS (774 hp / 577 kW) and 980 Nm (723 lb-ft) of torque. This is a considerable advantage over the original 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) and 840 Nm (620 lb-ft) – if you care about sporty driving dynamics in you Rolls-Royce luxobarge, that is.
Speaking of dynamics, the Dawn needs 4.6 seconds to launch itself to the highway speed with the upgrade installed, down 0.3 s from the standard time. The top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) remains the same, however, because OEM tires will have none of your stunts.
A total of three units will be built. Prices are, as usual, not public.
