The popular British rapper and music producer Skepta has found an unorthodox way to use his latest-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom. In an original ad campaign aimed at demonstrating the vehicle’s superb noise insulation qualities, he re-fitted its interior with sound recording equipment while working on a new song.
Skepta took the back seat, pushed the recording button, and sang while the car cruised by Lake Lucerne and across the mountain slopes of the Swiss Alps. The rapper gave his latest track the name Skepta RR. If you decide to watch the video footage of this unusual “away” recording experiment, you may hear a part of this song playing in the background.
The latest generation of Rolls-Royce Phantom saw its market release this summer. Every luxury vehicle comes equipped with a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 monster engine rated at 751 hp and 900 Nm torque. The sedan version now also features fully-steerable chassis and adaptive suspension.
