The Cullinan Blue Shadow is a designer’s take on the range-topping Black Badge version of the luxury-laden SUV meant to evoke associations with the Kármán line, the line where the blue sky as we see it meets the black void of space.
To that end, the entire body is finished in a shade of deep blue that extends even onto the Spirit of Ecstasy on the hood. The ornament itself is 3D-printed out of titanium powder. The radiator grille is matte black for contrast, and the bumper inserts make us think about the thermal shingles formerly used on space shuttles for heat exchange purposes.
The special edition will emerge in a series limited to 62 units, another hint at the Kármán line (its elevation above the Earth surface is generally taken to be near 100 kilometers, or 62 miles). All pricing details remain secret.
