Brabus works its tuning magic on the Rolls-Royce Ghost

Renowned Mercedes-Benz specialist Brabus has taken a shot at modifying an entirely different vehicle: the Rolls-Royce Ghost. Listed the Brabus 700, it is available for ordering, although the prices are not public.

The output of the stock 6.75-liter V12 goes up from 571 PS (563 hp / 420 kW) to 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW). The torque simultaneously rises from 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) to 950 Nm (702 lb-ft). As a result, the luxury saloon needs 4.6 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) – 0.2 seconds less than stock. The top speed stays unchanged at 250 km/h (155 mph).

On the exterior side of things, the car boasts a new splitter, rear diffuser and spoiler executed in ‘naked carbon’ look. The tuner claims the body kit improved downforce compared to the original. Dimmed chrome accents and 22-inch forged wheels round off the stylish image.

The interior of the show car flaunts porcelain-hued fine leather with a special kind of diamond stitching and black piping. Carbon fiber details all around cater for the necessary contrast. Brabus emphasizes that this is but one of many opportunities, and that customers are encouraged to come up with their own designs.

Rounding off the list are a valve-controlled exhaust system with a quarter of carbon finishers and a suspension control module that can be set to reduce the clearance by up to 20 mm (0.8 inches).
