Vintage Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow gets reimagined as an off-roader

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny has commissioned a tuning company named Wires Only to get him a prestigious ride unlike anything else. The tuners outdid themselves by sourcing an opulent Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow made sometime in the 1970s and turning it into an off-roading convertible… in three days.

At least, this is what the singer claims. By looking at the car proper, it is hard to believe it took less than half a week to restore and modify. The team that worked on it chopped off the roof and added an elegant-looking black frame to compensate for the loss of rigidity. They put a quarter of LED floodlights on the upper roll bar to ensure smooth driving at night and in bad weather conditions.

New wheels shod in 31-inch RBP Repulsor M/T RX off-road tires slotted into flared arches, and the suspension received a 3-inch (76mm) lift.

Of course, the whole blasphemy wouldn’t be complete without some Spirit of Ecstasy tweaking. In this case, the bonnet ornament wears what appears to be a black sock on its head and has red eyes. But hey, the car was built for a new music video, and we all know those take some extravagance to make, right?
