Rolls-Royce dedicates a unique Spectre to a good boy

This one-off Rolls-Royce Spectre commissioned by a customer from the United States is called Bailey after the owner’s beloved dog. It took the company more than four months to produce the custom exterior and trim, including a handmade portrait of Bailey.

The bodywork of the all-electric luxury coupe sports a warm, creamy beige finish inspired by the hues of Bailey’s fur on and around the ears. One of the colors used was completely new for Rolls-Royce, so they named it after the dog. Representing a crossbreed between a Labrador and a golden retriever, he’s not exactly a common canine, so the owner felt like he deserved having an entire car AND a color named after him.

A closer look reveals Rolls-Royce’s iconic Coachline stripe running down both sides. The company normally keeps it clean and laconic, but the Spectre Bailey complements it with a playful pawprint ornament.

The interior features the finest textile and leather trim, wood veneers on the dash and a marquetry mosaic between the rear seats depicting the dog itself. The image comprises over 180 pieces of wood veneer coming in 22 different natural hues – no paint or other artificial treatment applied.

Rolls-Royce chose this opportunity to remind us all that its Bespoke division is ready to tackle all kinds of custom vehicle orders – no matter how extensive or challenging.
