Dartz Motors, a company from Latvia predominantly known for its brutal-looking SUV conversions, has shared images of something entirely different.
According to the press release, the tiny urban EV will soon go on sale in Europe priced from just €9,900, making it the most affordable vehicle of its kind on the market there.
Media first learned last year that Dartz was working on a project named “FreZe EV”. The final production car will be named FreZe Nikrob EV, because it will be assembled by Latvian enterprise Nikrob.
You would be right to suspect Chinese roots: the subcompact is closely based on the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, which is a best-seller on its primary market.
The EU spec will feature four seats and two doors, and will offer around 200 kilometers (124 miles of range).
