Lister to storm the market with the world’s fastest-going SUV series

British supercar builder Lister has come forth with an ambitious announcement of its plans to build the fastest-going sport utility vehicle in the world. It has also posted a teaser pic of the upcoming small-series vehicle on its Facebook page.
The car will utilize the Jaguar F-Pace SVR as base. The latter comes equipped with a 5.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine producing up to 550 hp (410 kW) and 680 Nm (500 lb·ft) of torque. Lister hopes to raise the performance to 680 hp (507 kW) in the new SUV model. If successful, this would mean 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in under 4.5 seconds and top speeds bordering on 300 km/h (187 mph).
It is also reported that the hi-end vehicle will be issued in a small series of just 250 copies. No detailed technical or performance-related information is being disclosed at the moment.
Lister has unveiled an all-new supercar named Thunder in January 2018, following a 25-year long hiatus. The vehicle sported a sleek carbon body kit and had a 5.0-liter, 675 hp (503 kW) strong V8 engine under the hood.
