Photos of Pininfarina’s first all-electric hypercar revealed ahead of premiere

The Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina has revealed first official shots of its upcoming all-electric hypercar series, called the PF0.

The vehicle itself will premiere in August with some Formula E racing features on board, implemented in partnership with the Croatian hypercar builder Rimac. Market release is scheduled for 2020.

A spokesperson of Pininfarina said earlier that the car would incorporate the beauty, the power and the technology of the latest electric vehicles in one body. Despite the rather ambitious claim, the manufacturer still hasn’t revealed any specifics.

According to the latest rumors, the hypercar will pack a 2,000hp / 1,490kW powertrain and offer a driving range close to 500 kilometers (310 miles). It is also rumored that it will reach 100 km/h in less than two seconds.

The all-new Pininfarina PF0 will be revealed at a dedicated event in California, USA in August. Each vehicle will cost over €2,000,000. Apart from the e-hypercar, the company plans to release a few SUV models in the near future.
