India’s first hypercar to debut at Goodwood

An all-new India-made hypercar called Shul will enjoy its premiere at the Goodwood Festival of Speed starting in Goodwood, England in a few days.

Its manufacturer, Vazirani Automotive, has posted a teaser video on its YouTube channel earlier today.

The vehicle features an all-electric powertrain with a microturbine in place of a generator. Its performance isn’t being disclosed so far, but we can safely expect it to surpass 1,000 hp / 750 kW. To compare, the first Chinese hypercar named Techrules Ren also had a microturbine and six motors with 1,300 hp / 970 kW total power output.

Rumor has it that vehicle was designed by Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of the video game Gran Turismo. The teaser video seems to support this claim, since the vehicle has a futuristic appearance.

Shul will attend the show wearing an aggressive-looking aerodynamic body kit on a sleek all-carbon body.

The details will be available after the premiere.
