Check out Faraday Future 91’s gigantic display

In its latest video, Faraday Future reveals the details behind the enormous second-row infotainment display that its upcoming electric SUV, the FF 91, will ship with.

The screen diagonal amounts to 27 inches (nearly 70 cm), making it the largest out of the 11 displays found in the high-tech cabin. In the video, you can see it unfold upon receiving a voice command. A voice call is also shown: the passenger receives a call to their smartphone, but the car immediately recognizes it and turns on the display along with a video camera facing that passenger.

Other noteworthy features of the super crossover include a digital dash panel, a 15.4-inch multimedia touchscreen, a front passenger’s display, a HUD, a 10.1-inch rearview mirror, and compact-sized HVAC sensor panels built into doors.

Faraday Future debuted the concept car four years ago and had intended to launch it in 2018, producing 150,000 units annually. In reality, however, the production has not even started yet.

Powered by triple electric motors summing up to 1,065 PS (1,050 hp / 783 kW), the 5.2-meter long car should need only around 2.5 seconds to hit 100 km/h (62 mph). Once fully charged, it should have around 600 kilometers (373 miles) of range, according to the manufacturer. Prices should begin at roughly U.S. $200,000.
