The renowned Italian hi-end tire manufacturer Pirelli has issued a tire set named Stelvio Corsa developed exclusively for the magnificent Ferrari 250 GTO. The design of the tires was meticulously copied from the photos of the classical racing cars of the 1950s. Pirelli still used state-of-the-art materials and technology to produce the batch, though.
The new and gorgeous Stelvio Corsa tire set is an exact reproduction of the one which brought Alberto Ascari, an Italian racing driver, and his Ferrari 500 two victories at the Formula One Championship.
The legendary Ferrari 250 GTO is still considered the world’s most expensive and sought-after car. A vehicle assembled back in 1962 went under the hammer for U.S. $38,000,000 in 2014. Another copy was sold for the equivalent of U.S. $62,500,000 in Great Britain in 2016.
