Tata Motors posted a sketch of a new subcompact Tigor sedan. The company promises, that the official presentation of the new model will take place very soon.
It is known that the four-door sedan, constructed on the basis of the Tiago hatchback, is the serial version of Tata Kite concept car presented a year ago. Developers decided completely to keep the design of a concept. Tigor will be presented to public with the following dimensions: length – 3 995 mm, wheelbase – 2 450 mm, width — 1 647 mm, height — 1 535 mm. The car will also be equipped with two airbags, with the air conditioner and rear parktronic.
Tigor borrow from Tiago not only the platform, but also a motor range:
petrol and diesel engines with 1.2 and 1.0 generated capacity of 85 and 70 horsepowers will be settle down under the hood of new models respectively. The power plant will work in a tandem with 5-staged mechanical transmission, though the emergence of a new budget sedan and robotised gearbox isn't also excluded.
