Porsche 911 Turbo S and Nissan GT-R show BMW M5 who’s the boss

BMW claims the M5 is a worthy rival of most modern supercars. With 600 hp (447 kW) at its disposal, it is actually even stronger than the famous Porsche 911 Turbo S. But how does that kind of power translate to drag racing performance? Watch the video to find out.

The race was held between a BMW M5, a Porsche 911 Turbo S and a Nissan GT-R Track Edition, the latter boosted to 640 hp (477 kW) by Litchfield. It is worth noting here that even the stock, unmodded GT-R can gain speed faster than the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the BMW M5.

To be precise, the M5 can accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4s, the 911 in 2.9s and the GT-R in mere 2.5s.

Do you think the critically acclaimed BMW M5 stands a chance against the competition? Watch the video and see for yourself.
