The Swedish car marque SAAB may resurface on the global automobile market following this weekend’s news about an anonymous investor purchasing the rights to the unfinished Emily GT Concept from NEVS AB.
When the media first learned about the Emily GT being in development, they believed it to be an all-electric sports car with four motors installed one per wheel and up to 950 km (590 miles) of range per charge. It never reached the design stage, though, due to the bankruptcy of the automaker.
Based on the images of the concept posted a few years ago, the exterior of the car resembles that of the Saab 9-5, but benefits from some modern retouch.
The conditions of the deal between the mysterious investor and NEVS AB remain secret, but we are told that the production is expected to take place at Saab’s historical manufacturing site in Trollhättan, Sweden.
