Iran-based car manufacturer Saipa has unveiled an electric version of its Atlas hatchback at the recently concluded Tehran Auto Industry Exhibition, reports Bokhar.
The EV is still a concept and is not intended for mass production yet. It looks only minimally different from the standard Saipa Atlas with a faux grille at the front and blue accents on the wheels and the bumpers.
An electric motor at the front axle drives it with 94 PS (93 hp / 69 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. Accelerating from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes a sluggish 12 seconds, and the top speed doesn’t exceed 130 km/h (80 mph). A full charge is enough for 270 km (167 miles) of driving.
