Saleen Automotive has announced the forthcoming presentation of its latest North America-only sports car S1 at the LA Car Show which starts in Los-Angeles, USA on November, 30.
The new Saleen S1 has already been showcased in China, but, according to CEO of the company Steve Saleen, mass production only starts after the California presentation.
Speaking of the new vehicle, one cannot help noticing its striking similarity to Artega GT unveiled as early as 2007. However, Saleen claims that the new sports car has been “built from scratch and has nothing in common with Artega GT”.
JSAT, a partner enterprise of Saleen Automotive, has announced its intention to launch mass production of S1 for the Asian market within a few years. JSAT plans to use its existing assembly lines in China.
