General Motors had produced the Saturn Sky roadster (a.k.a. Opel GT) since 2006 until 2009, but never quite managed to convince the customers that it was a great car. Perhaps things would have played out differently had the exotic ride shipped with the famous 2JZ V6 of the fourth-gen Toyota Supra under the hood.
The tuner responsible for this job does not reveal any specifics, but even in its weakest implementation, the 2JZ churns out between 215 and 230 horsepower (160 – 172 kW) to the wheels. When properly boosted, it can surpass 1,000 hp (750 kW). The 2.4-liter EcoTec mill of the Saturn barely yields 177 hp (132 kW).
Aside from the swap, the custom ride received Wilwood four-piston brakes, forged rims painted white, and Lumma Design fender flares.
