SCG continues teasing the 007 LMP, its $2.6M supercar

Mere hours ago, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus posted several new teaser images and some specs of its upcoming 007 LMP supercar that will participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

As it turns out, the newcomer relies on a racing-spec 3.0 V6 TT engine rated at 840 hp (626 kW). Interestingly enough, the manufacturer claims the coupe can continuously deliver the peak power to the wheels for 30 hours without overheating or otherwise malfunctioning. Given its curb weight of just 1,100 kilos (2,425 lbs), this sounds even more impressive.

In March this year, SCG will begin testing the 007 LMP in the wind tunnel. The development phase is scheduled for completion by early summer, and production should launch in July 2020.

Each supercar will come with a U.S. $2,600,000 price tag attached.
