We had already reported about Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus’s plans to set a handful of new records with its SCG 007S hypercar, and here comes yet another ambitious claim waiting to be proven.
According to SCG, the 007S – which is essentially a road-legal version of the Le Mans racer known as the 007 LMH – is capable of lapping up the entire North Loop of the Nürburgring in under six minutes. If proven true, the 007S would dethrone the world’s fastest production car, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series (6:43.616). Furthermore, it would be faster than the non-production-but-street-legal Porsche 911 GT2 RS MR (6:40.33). The absolute record of the raceway currently belongs to the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo (5:19.546).

In other, less ambitious but still important news, SCG has shared another photo of the 007S and promised to equip the car with an air conditioner.
