The next generation of the Seat Leon hatchback still hasn’t properly premiered, but someone leaked its photos online.
The car is depicted parked in a large-ish room, possibly next to the location where the reveal will take place.
Design-wise, the new Leon looks much like the rest of Seat- and Cupra-branded vehicles of today. Its headlights and radiator grille shape in particular remind us of the Cupra Formentor Concept, while the LED strip connecting the brake lights evoke associations with the latest Seat Tarraco.
The cabin and tech remain a mystery thus far, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the new Leon take after the technically similar VW Golf Mk8 in these respects.
The performance-packed Cupra Leon hot hatch should join the range a little while after the main premiere.
