Seat reveals the first teaser pic of its urban EV Mii

Seat, a Spanish car manufacturer and part of VW Group, has posted the first teaser image showing its upcoming urban all-electric vehicle called ‘Mii Electric’.

The company has no EVs on its lineup right now, so the Mii Electric is going to become first. The car will celebrate its live premiere at a special event in Oslo, Norway, become available via pre-orders in September, and start shipping before the end of the year, Seat reports.

Technical specs remain undisclosed, but on the outside, the Mii bears many similarities to the e-Up! and the Citigo-e. As such, chances are good that it will ship with the same electric engine rated at 82 hp (61 kW) and 210 Nm (155 lb×ft) of torque as the above two. Power will most likely be provided by a 38 kWh battery, translating into 265 km (165 miles) of range before charging becomes necessary. The top speed will likely be limited at 130 km/h (81 mph), and the standard sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) will probably take up 12.5 seconds or so.

At the Oslo event, Seat will also be introducing the all-electric el-Bornm Concept and the sporty hybrid crossover/SUV Cupra Formentor. Both will also arrive to the 2019 International Motor Show Germany in September.
