Skoda to bring Vision iV electric concept to the Geneva show

Czech car manufacturer Skoda will attend the upcoming 2019 Geneva Motor Show with an all-electric vehicle concept called the Vision iV.

The coupe-SUV you can see here is based on Volkswagen’s MEB architecture. It sports a slanted roof, aerodynamically-shaped 22-inch wheels, and cameras instead of side mirrors. The car also lacks B-pillars, which means that its rear doors are rear-hinged.

The Skoda Vision iV comes powered with an all-electric powertrain whose properties remain undisclosed. Its predecessor, the Vision E Concept, had two electric motors jointly rated at 306 hp (228 kW). It also offered around 500 kilometers (or 310 miles) of uninterrupted driving once fully charged.

Skoda plans to launch at least 10 electrified models within the next 7 years.
