Is the novelty from the Swedish- a hybrid or not?

The Czech automaker Skoda has not yet decided on the engine of its new Karoq vRS / Karoq RS. According to journalists who communicated with an official representative of the company, the decision on a hybrid version or purely petrol management has not been made yet. And, if the hybrid "wins", then it will be an installation that was used on the Volkswagen Passat GTE and Golf GTE.

Recall, this power unit is a turbocharged gasoline engine in 156 "horses" and a 115-horsepower electric motor. As the official representatives of the company say, this installation will be able to recharge from an ordinary outlet.

Let's note, earlier the "charged" cross-country Skoda Karoq vRS / Karoq RS hid the same engine as the Seat Ateca Cupra model - a 2.0-liter turbocharged V4 engine with a power of about 300 forces.
