Skoda will be expanding its compact crossover SUV with the Kushaq, a car inspired by the Vision IN Concept (see video). The premiere will take place in March this year.
The word “Kushaq” means “Emperor” in India, so one could assume the model will be exclusive to that market.
Skoda plans on using the affordable MQB-A0 car platform for production, which it designed specifically for India a while ago.
The concept car shown in the video here came powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine rated at 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW). A DCT gearbox pushed the momentum to the front wheels.
