The Indian branch of Skoda has revealed two images of its upcoming sedan for that market, the Slavia, which is set for premiere on November 18, 2021.
The pictures show a multi-faceted radiator grille combined with the headlights and L-shaped DRLs. There are also fender badges, a Skoda caption in the back, chrome accents, and C-shaped taillights.
The Slavia is destined to phase out the Skoda Rapid in India, which was actually a badge-engineered Volkswagen Polo, anyway. The new car comes based on the affordable car platform known as the MQB-A0-IN and brings a choice between 115 PS (113 hp / 85 kW) and 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW). Transmission choices include manual, six-speed automatic, and seven-speed DSG.
