Czech car maker will bring the new Octavia version to the motor show to Geneva. It is known, that engineers hurried to finish work before the auto show in March, though many experts were looking forward to a model debut not earlier than summer of 2017.
New Skoda Octavia RS will be the most powerful model in the lineup. The power plant has a capacity of 245 h.p. (the predecessor had only 230 h.p.) and 370 Nm of torque. The "hot" version will receive 15 more additional "horses". The car will manage to accelerate to the first "hundred" in 6,6 seconds in a liftback body, the station wagon will need 6,7 seconds for this purpose. The maximum speed will make 250 km/h. The 6-speed box DSG is replaced with 7-staged. The car will have a front-wheel drive system.
It is noted, that the car will receive adaptive absorbers, 19-inch wheel rims, LED optics and a rear spoiler. The multimedia system will be availiable with the 9,2-inch screen and function of wireless charging of the smartphone.
Skoda Octavia RS 245 will appear at the European car markets next spring. The novelty will arrive in Russia in April, 2017.
