This is what the cheap Skoda Slavia sedan for India looks like

The Slavia is set to phase out the Rapid model in India, will be assembled locally in that country, and will hit showroom floors in the first quarter of 2022.

Based on the ‘affordable’ MQB-A0-IN platform, the sedan relies on the same powertrain as the Fabia for Europe or the Volkswagen Virtus for South America. Depending on the seat position, it offers between 521 and 1,050 liters of trunk space.

Wheels come in diameters of 15 and 16 inches, and the lighting all around is LED-based. Inside, there are up to six airbags, an 8-inch digital dashboard, a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, HVAC and a reversing camera.

Power comes from a 1.0-liter petrol engine rated at 115 PS (113 hp / 85 kW), but you can pay extra for a 1.5-liter one and get 150 PS (148 hp / 1110 kW). Transmissions are varied with manual, automatic and DSG all listed as possible.
