Skoda maintains intrigue around its new Vision X Concept

It looks like the management of the Czech car brand Skoda isn’t inspired by the idea of revealing its latest development – the Vision X Concept compact crossover SUV – ahead of the International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland, which opens for the media in just six days. Instead, it keeps drip-feeding us single teaser pics of the upcoming vehicle.

Based on what we know, the new Skoda Vision X Concept comes in all drive types and gets a marvelous engine that apparently has no trouble digesting anything from gasoline through natural gas to electricity from an on-board battery. It is essentially a thoroughly revised version of the old 1.5L VW Group engine now capable of up to 130 hp and 250 Nm.

The manufacturer has also stated earlier that the new Skoda Vision X Concept should be able to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 9.3 seconds and reach its limit at 200 km/h (124 mph).
